(MENAFN) Work on King Abulaziz Intl Airport in Jeddah is 88 percent finished and will start experimental operation in the beginning of the coming year.
Meanwhile, as many as 21.000 engineers and employees belonging to 110 firms are making efforts to finish the first phase of the project, as proclaimed director general.
Additionally, following the completion of the USD7.2bn project, the airport will become one of the largest aviation hubs in the globe and will be a smart, environment-friendly.
Moreover, it will also have two new terminals for local and global passengers, allowing all airlines to operate under one roof.
