Work on USD266.51m Saudi Neopharma plant to start in March

(MENAFN) chief executive officer and managing director of New Medical Center Group of Companies and UAE Exchange said that work on the USD266.51million Neopharma drug manufacturing plant in Jazan is set to start in March, Saudi Gazette reported.
The chief executive also revealed plans to build a 250-bed hospital in Jazan by spending around USD266.5 million. The world-class-quality hospital is to be expanded to a 500-bed capacity.
“The plot of land for the project has already been allotted and the licensing procedures are progressing well. I have ambitious plans to tap the potential of this great nation by making investments first in Jazan, then in Jeddah and Riyadh,” the chief executive said in a statement.
