(MENAFN) The World Bank proclaimed that it has confirmed USD150mn in financing to support small enterprises in Morocco and enhance social programs in the country.
Additionally, the funds will help the government modernize its national identification system and offer financing to promote innovative startups and job creation.
Accordingly, almost 5.3mn Moroccans live under the threat of falling back into poverty due to their socioeconomic situations.
In addition, USD100mn will aim to enhance systems to confirm that social programs are better targeted and reach the most vulnerable Moroccans.
