(MENAFN) US-based Wyndham Hotel Group is set to introduce Super 8 brand in Saudi Arabia, as it inked a franchise deal with Saudi Automotive Services Company (Sasco) to open 20 hotels across the Kingdom over the next five years, Trade Arabia reported.
The global hotelier seeks to embark on the domestic tourism sector in Saudi Arabia, estimated at 24 million people last year.
Super 8 hotels will be built in highway locations, offering a comfortable and affordable place to rest while providing convenient access to nearby services such as food outlets, petrol stations and mosques, Wyndham said.
Wyndham has more than 7,150 hotels around the world, with Super 8 operating 2,200 properties throughout the US, Canada and China.
