(MENAFN) Abu Dhabi-based Rotana Hotels’ COO, Omer Kaddouri, said that since the group planned to benefit from China’s growing travel market, Rotana Hotels would consider expanding its business in the Asian country, reported The National.
Kaddouri added that the move would also allow the group to promote its brand in a country that started to become an important source of tourists for the UAE.
He also said that India was a potential market for the company, however, at the time being, Rotana would search for investment opportunities in China only, adding that domestic travel in the country was huge, and moreover, China was underserved in terms of all categories of hotels.
It is worth noting that Rotana Hotels operates in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region at the current time.
