(MENAFN) Japanese automaker Toyota Motor Corp unveiled plans to withdraw almost 490,000 vehicles across the Middle East on window issues, Arabian Business reported.
The company said that it has discovered a defect in power-window switches, adding that no accidents have been reported.
The recall will include 14 separate models and will involve about 7.43 million cars worldwide, according to a Toyota spokesperson.
The recall will also see 2.47 million vehicles recalled in the US, 1.4 million in China, 1.30 million in Europe, 460,000 in Japan and 650,000 across the rest of Asia.
