BBK, Bahrain’s pioneer in Retail and Commercial Banking, further continued its’ efforts in developing its’ number one asset “the employees” by launching the BBK e-Learning Platform.
The BBK e-Learning Platform is recognised as one of the top of the line e-Learning systems. It has been implemented in association with Intuition Know-How Solutions; the world’s most widely used financial e-Learning library with 500+ tutorials and courses in Banking and Financial Services as well as Professional Business Skills. The e-Learning has been implemented in collaboration with Tamkeen through their Enterprise Support programme one of the many initiatives designed by Tamkeen to develop Bahrainis talent in the Banking industry..
The launch of the e-Learning Platform promotes the idea that organizations do not just invest in a learning programme, but also provides anytime and anywhere access to learning to their geographically dispersed workforce in order to meet today’s fast paced environment.

The e-Learning Platform is a cloud based solution with 24/7 access to more than 500 highly technical/specialized courses and tutorials in addition to the possibility of adding more of customized learning material and courses that keep the employees abreast with up to date business theories and practices. It is a highly interactive e-Learning module featuring scenarios of actual situations with courses enabling learners to immediately apply their learning into practice leading to faster skills acquisition. At the end of each tutorials there will be a standard assessment where employees can test and enhance their level of learning. Official accredited certificates would be awarded to the employee upon successful completion of a full e-learning course through a structured certification programme introduced by the Bank.
The e-Learning Platform is expected to significantly contribute to one of the most important Bank’s missions which is growing and developing competent employees to support them in their career developmental plans and to meet the upcoming business requirements and challenges. The flexibility and convenience features of the system will enormously help in accelerating the learning and development of all employees specially in empowering and supporting working women by getting access to a convenient developmental tool while maintaining a healthy work/life balance.
