(MENAFN) Colm McLoughlin, Managing Director of Dubai Duty Free, the world’s number one airport retailer, said that a deal was signed with the luxury hotel company Jumeirah Group, which is based in Dubai, for running a five-star Aviation Club hotel, reported Gulf News.

The company said that the hotel has a contemporary design that reflects understated luxury. The hotel contains 293 guestrooms, two restaurants, two bars and two lounges, as well as a spa and health club, and conference and banqueting facilities.

It is worth noting that Jumeirah Group plans on opening at least six other hotels in 2011, including Jumeirah Zabeel Saray in Dubai, and the Jumeirah Etihad Towers in Abu Dhabi, and in Shanghai, the Maldives, and Frankfurt.
