(MENAFN) The technical arm of National Air Services (NAS) and Lufthansa-Technik inked a deal on engineering and aircraft maintenance, Gulf News reported
The agreement is divided into two phases. The first is for three years focusing on developing joint cooperation, shifting and resettling aspects of knowledge and advanced technology in the field of engineering and aircraft maintenance. While as the second phase is planned to be upheld in three years whereby the customers in Saudi Arabia will be served by the NAS Tech-Lufthansa congregate.
Under the agreement, NAS aircraft engines, equipment, and instruments will be maintained by Lufthansa-Technik, which will include single-aisle aircraft such as Airbus A320 and Embraer 190 and 195 as well as the Boeing Business Jet.
Lufthansa Technik engineers and technical advisories will manage the practical implementation by NAS Tech for aircraft maintenance in accordance with standard technical specifications applied in Lufthansa Technik.
