(MENAFN) Sudan and South Sudan vowed again to implement economic and security pacts avoiding a shutdown of oil pipelines, The Peninsula reported.
At the end of a one day summit, Sudanese President, Omar Hassan Al Bashir, said that oil from the South is still to be moved through his country for export.
Bashir pledged that all agreements signed with South Sudan would be upheld, including the flow of the South’s oil through its Sudan.
Oil exports are nearly South Sudan’s sole source of foreign revenue.
