BBK brings faster, more secure verification to BBK Business with eKey 2.0

BBK, a leader in retail and corporate banking in the Kingdom of Bahrain, has introduced the enhanced eKey 2.0 authentication service on its BBK Business platform, enabling corporate customers to complete identity verification more quickly and securely when opening a new business account with BBK.

BBK continues to strengthen its digital offering for corporate and SME customers by simplifying the account-opening process and reducing the need for manual verification. The integration of eKey 2.0 gives businesses a faster and more secure way to complete the required checks to verify their identity and submit the required information directly through the BBK Business platform, helping reduce processing time and enabling faster access to BBK’s corporate banking services.

Developed by Bahrain’s Information & eGovernment Authority, eKey 2.0 is the Kingdom’s national digital identity platform. It allows users to authenticate their identity securely when accessing a wide range of public- and private-sector services online.
