​BBK, Bahrain’s pioneer in retail and commercial banking, has announced that it successfully executed a large trade on the Bahrain Bourse on behalf of its client through BBK Brokerage Services – a division of BBK.

BBK Brokerage Services represented its GCC based institutional client in a sell-side broker for the total of 6,742,504 ordinary shares of Takaful International B.S.C which is equivalent to 10.7% per cent of the total outstanding shares of Takaful International B.S.C.

Commenting on the successful brokerage of the sale, BBK’s Chief Executive A.Karim Bucheery said: “We always aim to support the local market and our clients with all our services. It is also worth mentioning that we have been responsible for executing a deal to sell a 51% stake of The Bahrain Islamic Bank (BisB) in 2013 which was one of the largest deals on the Bahrain Bourse. ”
