BBK introduces the ‘BBK Business’ platform.

BBK, Bahrain’s pioneer in retail and commercial banking, has announced the launch of “BBK Business”, BBK’s corporate digital onboarding platform. The platform is geared towards serving Corporate and Small & Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Bahrain by offering cutting-edge financial and technological solutions to keep up with the growth of their commercial activities.

The platform allows Bahraini companies to open business accounts digitally, and request for BBK’s Group Banking services, including but not limited to BanKey (the digital platform for viewing account details and transacting from the accounts), requesting for a cheque book, debit cards, corporate deposit cards, and applying for a point of sale (POS) machine.  All this can be done digitally by simply downloading and registering through the “BBK Business” app or by visiting

Through the platform, we demonstrate our continuous innovation to offer our customers with the best solutions and to support their efforts in expanding and growing their businesses,” said Dr. AbdulRahman Saif, BBK’s Group Chief Executive.

“The launch of BBK Business is part of our strategy towards digital transformation to support the corporate sector including Small & Medium Enterprises. We are keen to fulfill these needs as effectively as possible by leveraging the Bank’s broad expertise and skills in integrating digitization into the banking industry as a whole,” added Dr. Saif.

It is worth mentioning that this initiative is one of many by the Bank towards the digitization of its banking services which include launching 5 digital branches (BBKPLUS) and a new and enhanced Online Banking platform and the BBK Mobile Banking app and the BanKey app, in addition to Ask BBK service and self-service machines, and CPR update services.  Moreover, the Bank launched the Apple Pay service and the newly introduced Samsung Wallet to all debit and credit card holders at the Bank as well as Fitbit Pay and Garmin Connect services. BBK also recently launched its BBK Virtual platform, a virtual reality experience via the Metaverse, making it the first bank in Bahrain to launch this service.
