17 Aug 2020

In the presence of BBK Group CE, Dr. Abdul Rahman Ali Saif, the training program benefiting over 200 students was launched with the aim of honing their skills in various fields such as communication skills, public speaking, self-development, and mastering modern communication tools.
The training program is led by one of the best international trainers specializing in nurturing young talents, Mr. TJ Walker. One of the world’s most coveted trainers, he has trained presidents, ministers and senior officials around the world. The month-long training program targeting 17 to 19 year olds commenced via the virtual meeting platform “ZOOM”.
Moreover, BBK announced its second initiative to provide more than 200 free 1-year Udemy memberships for high school graduates from public and private schools. Udemy is an online professional educational platform that is rich in many educational, creative and training content. Male and Female students will receive equal opportunities.
Group CE Dr. Abdul Rahman Saif explained that these two initiatives are in line with BBK’s recent announcement of a new strategy to expand its social responsibility efforts in support of Bahrain’s sustainable development goals. Focusing its donations and support this year in the field of education and training, the Bank has partnered with prestigious academies to create several initiatives that include sponsoring and supporting the education and training of hundreds of Bahraini youth, which reflects the bank’s confidence in the potential of Bahraini youth and their ability to excel and contribute to the kingdom’s bright future.
Dr. Saif added that BBK is determined to harness all of its capabilities to ensure these two initiatives achieve their designated goals of helping Bahraini youth advance into the future. He also stated: “As an incentive for students to participate, excel, and obtain the maximum possible benefit, we are pleased to announce a set of prizes for the best achievers. “
In addition, Dr. Saif mentioned that BBK’s support in the field of education and training comes as yet another one of many contributions previously provided, including to the Crown Prince’s International Scholarship Program, the Isa bin Salman Educational Charitable Fund, a Computer Lab at the University of Bahrain and a training program for journalists and many others.
