BBK offers an all new Educational Loan

BBK, Bahrain’s pioneer in retail and commercial banking, announced today that it will be offering a special Consumer Loan to fund students ready to embark on their university and college educational journey at very preferential pricing.

The special Education Loan is designed to finance undergraduate and post-graduate degree programs offered by local and international universities.  The loan is also offered to fund working professionals looking to pursue professional qualification degrees or certificates.

This initiative reflects the bank’s commitment to the community by offering non-commercial pricing and playing an active role in facilitating access to higher education.  Moreover, the Bank has recently undertaken and implemented offering 200 free memberships from the Udemy Academy for 200 Bahraini students and a training program for the Bahraini youth presented by one of the best international speakers, Mr. TJ Walker, in addition to a fully digitized training program for Bahraini women, among many others.

The new Education Loan comes with special benefits, including preferential interest rates, an easy application, and fast approval process, flexible repayment terms, and a repayment period of up to seven years in addition to convenient automatic payment account deduction and loan protection insurance.

Dr. Adel Salem, General Manager of Retail Banking at BBK commented on the launch saying: “Everyone has the right to an education and at BBK, we believe that we have a social responsibility in providing the means to empower our youth and ease their access to higher education, allowing them to reach their full potential.”

He added that education is one of the main factors of Bahrain’s Economic Vision 2030 and highlighted BBK’s commitment in contributing towards that goal, through its various initiatives under BBKCares and its wide range of support to educational programs.
