BBK opens its new branch in Sitra with cutting-edge digital services

Bank of Bahrain and Kuwait (BBK), Bahrain’s pioneer in retail and commercial banking, has announced the opening of its latest branch in Sitra.

The new Sitra branch was inaugurated by Dr. AbdulRahman Saif, BBK’s Group Chief Executive. The ceremony was also attended by Dr. Adel Salem, General Manager of Retail Banking, in addition to a number of Bank officials and customers.

This branch serves as a comprehensive hub, presenting an array of services and products under one roof. It marks the most recent addition to BBK’s expansive branch network throughout the Kingdom, in alignment with the Bank’s strategic pursuit of growth and expansion, underscoring its commitment to delivering convenience to customers across all regions of the Kingdom.

BBK’s newest branch introduces an array of services that promise an engaging banking experience, simplifying customers’ transactions. The branch provides a self-service BBKPLUS Zone as well as a Customer Service services area segregated from the Teller services. It operates from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Saturday to Wednesday, catering to the convenience of its valued customers.

The branch features state-of-the-art equipment and facilities, ensuring a seamless and effective banking experience for customers. The first floor is dedicated to Teller services, including a lowered counter for special needs customers and seating area, as well as a separate queuing system exclusively for Teller transactions.

The ground floor includes the 24/7 BBKPLUS Zone and a host desk equipped with tablets, an Interactive Teller Machine (ITM), two Smart ATMs, a Corporate Deposit machine which accepts cash, cheques as well as coins, a Debit Card Issuance machine, and a Bank Certificates Issuance machine. The ground floor also includes an area for Sales and Customer Service.

BBK’s branch network currently consists of 22 branches and 94 ATMs and Deposit Machines located in 53 strategic locations throughout the Kingdom of Bahrain.
