BBK proudly supports “Celebrate Bahrain” as a gold sponsor in cooperation with BTEA

BBK has proudly sponsored “Celebrate Bahrain” again this year, seeking to boost cultural, sport and entertainment events highlighting the rich history of the Kingdom.

“Celebrate Bahrain” features a variety of innovative events for all age groups, starting with “Muharraq Nights”, organized from December 5 to 30, including a group of cultural and heritage shows that highlight Bahrain’s history and cultural diversity. Besides a series of events hosted by the capital, Manama, the season includes firework displays in various locations as well as concerts with the participation of international and Arab artists, which enhances Bahrain’s position as a leading destination for major entertainment events.

On this occasion, Mr. Yaser Alsharifi, BBK Group Chief Executive, expressed the significance of supporting national events, stating: “We are proud to sponsor “Celebrate Bahrain,” as this event embodies our leading efforts to support the advancement of the tourism sector. The Bank’s participation in these events reflects our commitment to the local community and our keenness to promote Bahraini culture. We also view these events as an opportunity to support the national economy and raise tourism awareness in the Kingdom of Bahrain, which attracts visitors and enhances Bahrain’s identity as a vibrant cultural and tourism hub.”

For her part, Ms. Sara Ahmed Buheji, Chief Executive Officer of the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA), affirmed: “BBK’s sponsorship of “Celebrate Bahrain” constitutes valuable support for events that reflect the authenticity of our cultural heritage and history. We believe that this partnership between the public and private sectors will contribute to achieving a unique experience for citizens, residents and visitors, confirming the Bank’s commitment to ​​strengthening national identity. We also anticipate a joyful festive season, as these events demonstrate the spirit of brotherhood and communication between all segments of society.”
