BBK rewards diligence at work for the year 2010

Bahrain’s pioneer in retail and commercial banking- has announced the 2010 winners of the STAR Service Excellence Award, within the category of the Best employee in each frontline role within its Retail Banking Division for 2010.

All Retail Banking employees who had direct contact with customers throughout 2010, had the chance to vie for this honor, where the key criteria are Excellence in customer service, outstanding business results, reinforcing BBK brand values and superior service quality.

 Mr. AbdulKarim Bucheery, Chief Executive of BBK handed over trophies and a cash prize to the winners in appreciation of their exceptional efforts at a special ceremony that took place on Sunday, 21st of February at BBK Headquarter in Manama. Khalid A.Rahim from Muharraq Financial Mall won the “Best Teller 2010”, Maryam A.Rasool Haji from the Main Branch- “Best Sales Consultant 2010”, Hussain Al Asfoor from Hamad Town Branch- “Best Customer Service Representative 2010”, Jassim Al Shirawi from the Main Branch- “Best Team Leader for the Sales/ Customer Service 2010” and finally Mariam Shams from the Remittance Department won the “Best Team Leader for the Cash Operations 2010”.

In addition to the yearly awards, fifty six employees were recognized and rewarded throughout the year from different branches for their excellence in customer service based on fulfilling the wining criteria of customer commitment, zest for building relationships, motivation to further develop the business and positive impact and influence on staff and co-workers.

Mr. Axel Hofmann, Head of BBK’s Retail Banking Division said, “We are proud to be honoring employees who have exerted tremendous efforts to achieve such outstanding results.
