(MENAFN) Vice President Information Technology at Saudi Arabian Airlines, Muhammad Ali Albakri, said that the Middle East would witness a hike of 100 percent in the number of tourists over the course of the current decade, reported The Gulf Today.
Albakri said that the Middle East is proving to have increasingly attractive destinations for tourism. He elaborated saying that billions of dollars are being invested in the tourism sector in the Middle East as well as on travel and airport development.
Albakri added that the Saudi Airlines responded to this trend with increasing investments in modern technology in order to strengthen its position regionally.
