Abu Dhabi duty free sales rise 19% in H1

(MENAFN) Duty Free sales at Abu Dhabi International Airport increased by 19 percent during the first half of the year, compared to the same period the previous year, Gulf News reported.

Spend per passenger also grew by 7.2 percent to $14.47, according to official figures. Sectors which performed well included perfume and cosmetics, liquor, gold and electronics.

During the same period, the number of passengers who used the airport increased by 11.7 percent, the report stated.
