(MENAFN) Etihad Airways revealed a 100 percent increase in the number of flights between Abu Dhabi and Manchester to fourteen, reported Arabian Business.
The Abu Dhabi flag carrier said that the addition comes as it plans expansion in the North West of England region.
It is worth noting that the carrier had recently announced a 10-year partnership deal with the Abu Dhabi-owned Manchester City football club, worth USD480 million.
The airline currenlty operates more than 1000 flights per week to 70 destinations in 46 countries, via a fleet of 61 aircraft. Its operation is heavily centered in Europe and Asia, as well as Oceania, Africa and North America. Its main base is Abu Dhabi International Airport, with its head office in Khalifa City A, Abu Dhabi.
