(MENAFN) Air Arabia Egypt’s head of Commercial, AK Nizar, said that the carrier launched its flights to Istanbul from its main hub in Alexandria, reported Khaleej Times.

Nizar added that since Turkey became a central destination for travelers, the service would operate twice a week between Alexandria and Istanbul’s Sabiha International Airport.

He also said that the new services between the two cities would enhance mutual growth in travel and tourism between Egypt and Turkey; in addition, they would provide clients with affordable flights.
