08 Jun 2010

(MENAFN) UAE-based Air Arabia joined hands with Jordan’s Tantash Group to set up a joint venture that will launch a new low-cost carrier based in Amman, Reuters reported.

The new company will be named Arabia Jordan and it will be Jordan’s first low-cost carrier. The company will be based in Amman and it would be Air Arabia’s fourth regional hub.

In February, Air Arabia said that the new airline will start operations in its third hub in Egypt in the first half of 2010.
