(MENAFN) The Marketing Manager of Al Ghurair City shopping mall, Joe Abi-Khalil, said that the mall plans expanding into 150 retail, food and beverage outlets as well as a 5-star hotel, reported Gulf News.
Abi-Khalil said that the extension, aimed at diversifying the mall’s offerings and attracting younger population with a new selection of brands, is estimated to cost USD544.4.
Abi-Khalil said that the extension is expected to be completed by the end 2011 but the 5-star hotel is scheduled to be open by March 2012.
Al Ghurair Centre, which is located in Dubai’s Deira district, is one of the first and oldest shopping malls built in Dubai; however, it continues to attract steady numbers of loyal customers.
