(MENAFN) Tehran and Algiers have inked 11 cooperation memorandums of understanding (MoUs) in various fields, Mehr News Agency reported.
Algerian Prime Minister Ahmed Ouyahia arrived in Tehran on Sunday along with a high-ranking economic delegation to attend the meeting of the Iran-Algeria High Joint Committee.
He was officially welcomed by the Iranian first vice president, Health Minister Marzieh Vahid Dastgerdi, and Oil Minister Massoud Mirkazemi. The visit was being made upon an invitation by Rahimi.
The signed MOUs cover cooperation in different fields such as agriculture, civil, trade, health, higher education and scientific researches, sisterhood of Imam Khomeini and Bejaia ports, establishment of joint commercial council, establishment of joint investment committee, establishment of joint investment fund, and action plan between Physical Education Organization of Iran and Algerian youth and sports ministry
