(MENAFN) The General Organization of Sea Ports (GOP) announced that the work at Almoayed Wilhelmsen’s warehouse facility at Bahrain Logistic Zone (BLZ) will be completed by the end of this year, reported Gulf Daily News.
GOP also added that the BLZ would make it easier on investors and companies to import and export goods especially that the zone has a strategic location in the Kingdom as it is located between Khalifa Bin Salman Port and the Industrial City, in addition to its location in the Gulf Area.
GOP chairman, Shaikh Daij bin Salman Al Khalifa, said that Almoayed Wilhelmsen would participate positively in the nations economy over the next twenty years, by attracting new investments, creating new job opportunities and strengthening Bahrain’s position in the Gulf.
Its worth noting that Almoayed Wilhelmsen is a branch of the giant Wilhelmsen maritime Ships Services Company, and it signed a lease for twenty years with the BLZ in which Almoayed would monitor a space of about 4.000sqm at BLZ.
