(MENAFN) Aluminium Bahrain’s (Alba) chairman, Mahmood Al Kooheji, said that the company would distribute dividends at 27 fils per share, reported Gulf Daily News.
The chairman said that the dividends were granted approvals from regulatory authorities and the company’s board of directors earlier this month.
The dividends would sum up to USD102 million and would be divided to USD71 million to be given to Bahrain Mumtalakat Holding Company, USD21 million to be given to Saudi Basic Industries Corporation and USD10 millionn to be given to Alba’s other institutional and retail shareholders.
The chairman commented that this interim dividend comes shortly after the company went public.
