(MENAFN) Kuwait’s Equate Petrochemical Company said that it has signed a deal with US-based Aquatech International to build a water recycling plant, part of a company environmental project valued at over $11 million, Reuters reported.
Equate said in a statement the plant will reduce the company’s water consumption and cut on carbon emission associated with purifying water. It did not disclose the value of the contract.
Equate is a joint venture between Kuwait-owned Petrochemical Industries Company and US Dow Chemical Company.
