(MENAFN) A statement released by construction firm Arabtec Holding said that the company reported a profit after tax of $81.9 million for the first half of the year, compared to $106.9 million in the corresponding period of 2009, Gulf News reported.
Profit for the three months ended June 30, 2010, stood at $35.9 million compared to $54.7 million in the second quarter last year.
Revenues for the six-month period of 2010 dropped to $770 million from the $1.06 billion recorded in the first half of 2009.
Second-quarter revenue was $351 million compared to $558 million in the same period last year.
