(MENAFN) India’s Punj Lloyd said that its Saudi unit has won a construction contract from Saudi oil giant Aramco for its Yanbu export refinery project, Reuters reported.
Dayim Punj Lloyd said the contract is for engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) of offsite pipelines for the Red Sea Refining Company being set up on the Western coast of the kingdom, along the Red sea.
The project includes utility services – industrial, potable and process water, sanitary sewers, fuel gas supply – as well as very large, 3400mm/2900mm diameter reinforced thermosetting plastic pipelines for sea water supply and return pipelines.
The scope also includes associated custody metering, electrical, instrumentation and control systems. The order will be executed over 36 months.
