(MENAFN) Saudi Aramco’s chief executive, Khalid Al Falih, said that the company and the Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (Sabic), in accordance with the Saudi Royal initiative for supporting citizens, would give a bonus amounting to two-month salaries to each employee, reported Gulf Daily News.
Al Falih said that the bonus would be given to all employees as well as trainees.
Al Falih stated that the bonus comes as a reflection of the companies’ commitment towards their social responsibilities, in addition to being a response to King Abdullah’s orders of USD93 billion in handouts to Saudis.
It is worth noting that Sabic is 70 percent owned by the Saudi government, while Aramco is the major contributor to the Saudi wealth.
