(MENAFN) A’Saffa food company chairman, Eng. Saleh Mohammed Al Shanfari, stated that the company’s 2010 sales climbed 18.45 percent and gross profit rose 17.83 percent compared to 2009, reported Times of Oman.
Al Shanfari also said that the largest Omani food company’s 2010 successful results were helped by a new profit of USD8.16 million after tax compared to USD7.5 million profit in 2009.
The chairman added that the company changed its corporate identity in 2010 from A’Saffa Chicken to A’Saffa Foods, thus introducing more options of food products such as beef franks, chicken franks, minced beef products and beef burgers.
It is worth noting that A’Saffa Foods, S.O.A.G (Earlier A’Saffa Poultry farms, S.A.O.G) is located in Thumrait, Southern Dhofar Region in the Sultanate of Oman. A’Saffa produces 17 million naturally- fed and hand slaughtered chickens a year.
