(MENAFN) Bahrain Air’s chief operating officer, Captain Ahmed Yaqubi, said that the carrier signed a training agreement with the Gulf Aviation Academy (GAA), reported Gulf Daily News.
Yaqubi said that GAA would provide Bahrain Air’s staff with theoretical and practical training on Airbus A320. Both pilots and cabin crew qualify for the training.
Yaqubi also said that the training would take place in Muharraq in a facility of GAA. He noted that the training would be in accordance with curriculum provided by Bahrain Air and developed to meet Bahrain Civil Aviation Authority’s requirements.
It is worth noting that GAA is a subsidiary of Bahrain Mumtalakat Holding Company.
