Bahrain money supply growth accelerates in March

(MENAFN) The Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) said that the kingdom?s money supply grew 8.5 percent year-on-year in March, after a 5.3 percent increase during the previous month, Reuters reported.

M3, the broadest measure of money circulation in the Bahraini economy, stood at $23.21 billion in March compared with $21.4 billion in the year-earlier month, the central bank said in its monthly report.

Month on month, money supply in Bahrain grew 2.65 percent, the report said.
