Bahrain signs customs accord with US

(MENAFN) Bahrain and the United States have signed an agreement on customs cooperation between the two countries, Gulf Daily News reported.

The agreement aims to enhance cooperation between customs agencies in both countries, and to provide the legal framework for the exchange of information between customs authorities in both countries.

The accord was signed for Bahrain by head of the Customs Department Basim bin Yaqoub al Hamar and for US by Customs and Border Protection Commissioner Alan Bersin .
