(MENAFN) The Chairman of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry said that the kingdom has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Thailand to boost trade and investment, Gulf Daily News reported.
He pointed out that the deal will boost bilateral trade and economic co-operation and investments, adding that the two sides hope to increase the volume of trade exchanges, encourage investments and joint ventures in commerce, industry and services sectors.
Under the agreement, the two sides commit to exchange trade, economic and investment information, intensify business visits and hold joint exhibitions.
He also hailed plans to open a Thai business office in Manama to widen the scope of partnership with the Gulf and the Middle East.
