Bahraini govt goes electronic

(MENAFN) Deputy Prime Minister and chairman of Supreme Committee for Information and Communication Technology, Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa, announced the launch of Bahrain’s National Contact Center that would provide electronic government services in the Kingdom, reported Gulf Daily News.

The deputy PM said that the new center would be in charge of providing contact services for all companies in both the public and the private sectors in addition to its core electronic government services.

Shaikh Mohammed added that Silah Gulf would manage the new center.

Sahikh Mohammed also said that the new center would also serve the country’s strategic goal for countering unemployment as a thousand Bahrainis would be recruited within the center’s facilities.
