(MENAFN) Samer Majali, Chief Executive Officer at Bahrain’s national carrier; Gulf Air, announced that it has launched a new route to Milan, Italy, on March 27, and Geneva, Switzerland, two days later, bringing the carrier’s destination portfolio to forty-seven, Trade Arabia reported.
According to Majali, the Geneva flight will operate three times a week on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, while the Milan Malpensa service will operate four times a week on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.
The launching of the new routes comes in line with Gulf Air’s aim to connect Bahrain to the region and the rest of the world, including some of the world’s leading financial markets, in order to support the Kingdom’s financial services and trade, explained the CEO.
