(MENAFN) Bahrain Telecommunications Company’s (Batelco) CEO, Rashid Abdulla, stated that the company’s policy regarding call prices is connected with Bahrain’s competition regulations, reported Arabian business.
Abdulla said that Batelco’s reply came as a result to Bahrain authority accusation stated that the company violated competitive pricing on international calls to Asia.
Batelco is preparing a statement to explain the company’s reasons and motivations behind the prices and the company is confident that it would have a fair hearing, Batelco’s CEO further explained.
It is worth noting that the company has until October 13 to respond before imposing any penalty.
