(MENAFN) Dr Rudolf Colm, a senior board member for Bosch Group, announced that the German multinational company plans to expand its operations at the Dubai Airport Freezone due to the rising demand from customers in the Gulf, the Middle East and Africa, Trade Arabia reported.
The expansion plans come as a result of the increasing demand for products with the latest technology including automotive aftermarket parts, power tools, security systems and photovoltaics, explained Colm.
Also, Bosch is involved in hydraulics and pneumatic business with its Rexroth division, he said.
According to Colm, Bosch’s Dubai freezone operations generated a turnover of $54.5 billion in 2009, indicating good business potential for the group.
