Cavotec wins $4m Muscat airport contract

(MENAFN) Cavotec Middle East has won a $4.08 million contract for the design, supply, and installation of 95 pop-up pit systems at the new Muscat International Airport, according to a press statement.

The subsidiary of global engineering group Cavotec MSL,won the contract from Bahwan Engineering Company, the biggest MEP contracting company in the Sultanate of Oman and part of the Bahwan Group.

Cavotec will also supply its Wibe Cable Support System to the development, adding to the firm�s portfolio for the Muscat International Airport project.

Following the signing of this contract, Cavotec�s pop-up pit systems can now be found in five different airports within the GCC region: Dubai, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, and Muscat.
