(MENAFN) Christie’s Middle East director, Isabelle de La Bruyere, said that the auction house forecasts sales between USD11 to USD13 million in one week only in the jewellery and art auctions in Dubai, reported Arabian Business.
La Bruyere said that pre-sales were estimated at between USD5 to USD6 million for art work, while jewellery would sell between USD6 to USD7 million.
La Bruyere added that the auction house had been successful in Dubai since its launch back in 2006, as it sold art and jewellery at a total of USD200 million.
It is worth noting that the new auction would be held in Jumeirah Emirates Towers Hotel in Dubai.
