(MENAFN) Saudi Construction Products Holding Company (CPC) business development and administrative affairs director Dr Faysal Alaquil said that experimental operations were launched on the area of a new industrial complex the company is building in Egypt, reported Gulf Daily News.
Alaquil said that the complex would be constructed in 6th of October province over an area of 1.5 million square meters to hold up to sixty seven factories so far. It attracted around $400 million of investments. This complex would be the first of its kind in Egypt as a private industrial park.
Alaquil added that the complex would attract investors into Egypt, create more jobs and thus enhance the economy all in all. So far, the project attracted 67 factories that created jobs for 11,097 people. It is worth noting that the complex would be built in cooperation with the General Authorities for Industrial Development and Investment in Egypt.
