(MENAFN) Ducab’s chairman, Ahmad Al Shaikh, said that the company’s sales in 2011 so far had a 52 percent yea-on-year increase, amounting to USD980 million, reported Arabian Business.
Al sheikh said that the power cables manufacturer was able to make great sales despite a rise in copper prices. He also said that the positive results would be maintained in the whole year as forecasts are for 2011 to have a fifteen percent year-on-year increase in sales.
Shaikh said that Ducab expanded to new sectors and markets within the Middle East, Europe, Africa and Asia, which made the growth in sales possible.
