(MENAFN) Emirates Airline’s chairman and chief executive, Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum said that the company would start Dublin’s daily flights by the start of January 2012 to be the first air route to the Republic of Ireland, reported Arabian business.
Sheikh Ahmed stated that the first flight would be in January 9 for First, Business and Economy class by an Airbus A330-200.
There are already flights for Ireland but they are only for goods transport and the company will be ready to offer 14 tones of bellyhold capacity for each flight for passengers by the beginning of the next year, the chairman added.
It is worth noting that Emirates, which is one of the largest airways in the region and the world, new route to Dublin will be the company’s 29th route in Europe.
