DPW launches Quinquela Martin terminal in Argentina

(MENAFN) Quinquela Martin, Argentine’s largest cruise terminal which was established and run by Dubai Ports World (DPW), was launched has by both the President of Argentina, Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner and DPW chairma Sultan Ahmed Bin Sulayem, reported the National.

The new terminal complex was located in DPW Terminales Rio de la Plata (TRP) over an area of 12,300 square meters. The terminal can receive up to 600,000 travelers on a yearly basis.

In addition, the terminal accommodates two levels and a waiting area that could host 2,000 people. The vast carousel area can accommodate around 12,000 pieces of luggage.

It is worth noting that Terminales Rio de la Plata is located in Buenos Aires and is considered the largest container terminal in Argentina.
