(MENAFN) Drake & Scull International’s (DSI) CEO, Khaldoun Tabari, said that the construction firm signed a USD27 million Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) deal for a private residential facility in Doha, reported Emirates 24/7.

Tabari added that the project, which would start soon and would be delivered in November of next year, would be constructed by the firm’s newly purchased MEP specialist company Drake & Scull International Qatar (DSQ).

He also said that DSI improved its operational capabilities in DSQ to handle the growing demand for the 2022 world cup associated infrastructure, commercial and residential developments.

It is worth noting that DSI was able to secure several civil, MEP and water and power projects in Oman, Egypt, Kuwait, Saudi, UAE, Asia and Europe since the beginning of the year that combined worth USD871 million.
