14 Apr 2011

(MENAFN) Drake & Scull International’s CEO, Khaldoun Tabari, said that the Dubai based construction and engineering company may construct new projects in Saudi Arabia with USD1.9 billion this year, reported Arabian Business.

Tabari added that although political unrest affects Middle East countries such as Egypt and Syria, there are still investment opportunities in other countries such Saudi Arabia, where the company already has USD1.99 billion projects, 50 percent of them not finished yet.

He said that the company would invest more in Saudi Arabia especially after King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz’s announcement of USD82 billion housing projects in the Kingdom that attracted construction companies.

It is worth noting that Drake & Scull International has projects and investments in the Middle East and North Africa as well as Djibouti and Vietnam.
