(MENAFN) A statement issued by Michael Scully, Managing Director of Seven Tides, the real estate developer of Ibn Battuta Gate Hotel, said that the new five-star hotel is planned to open its doors to the public in Dubai on October 1st, Gulf News reported.
The hotel is going to be managed by Movenpick Hotels and Resorts. Its design was inspired by the Arabian explorer Ibn Battuta in the 14th century and it is said that the hotel’s location next to the Ibn Battuta Mall and Ibn Battuta Metro station would be a major driver of its occupancy rates.
Room rates start from $189 where a study had revealed that hotels in the areas had the highest bookings in October and November.
