Egypt, Lebanon sign cooperation agreements

(MENAFN) Kuna reported that Lebanon and Egypt have signed 18 agreements in the fields of health, social affairs, the environment, entertainment, youth, media and tourism.

Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Hariri said in a joint press conference with Egyptian counterpart that the trade volume between the two Arab countries amounted to $500 million, noting that they were planning to increase this to $1 billion in a few years.

The agreements and memorandums of understanding between both include regular air trips between both and cooperation in the cinema industry, strategic study, technology institutes and state media, investment, anti-dumping measures and social affairs.
